Blue Peel Radiance

Blue Radiance Peel

A Blue Peel Radiance facial chemical peel is a new addition to our range of treatments. It involves a unique blend of safe acids that provide a gentle yet effective salicylic acid-based facial chemical peel. This results in a peel that will leave your skin feeling smoother, tighter and looker brighter – even after your first treatment.

Peels that use salicylic acid can be utilised to improve a range of skin concerns, including melasma, acne scars and sun exposure damage. It can also be used to improve both tone and texture. The procedure exfoliates the upper layers of the skin, which are the layers that are most prone to damage.

This will leave your skin feeling refreshed and renewed. The process is very simple to apply and will not significantly impact your day-to-day life.

Note, you will need to apply a sun cream with a sun-protection factor of at least 30 prior, during and once the treatment has been completed.

What can I expect?

Initially, we will carry out for you a complete skin analysis consultation. We will also ask about any skin-related issues with your current health or past medical history. Your advisor will help you to set up an effective home-care program that will be individually tailored to target your particular skin type and health requirements. You may also be required to take to a patch test.

How does the treatment work?

Once your skin has been cleaned and dried, a preparation solution is applied and allowed to dry completely. Then, the Blue Peel Radiance itself is applied systematically in order to achieve the best possible result. Depending on your particular needs, a second application may be necessary.

Once applied, the solution is allowed time – generally five to ten minutes – to work into the dermal layers of your skin.

The final stage involves the application of a gentle cleanser and a sun protection factor cream to your skin.

How many treatments will I require?

Normally, for the best results four to six treatments should be scheduled twice a year, usually two to four weeks apart.

Occasionally, in the unlikely event that we feel the Blue Peel Radiance treatment is not effective enough, we may recommend the use of a stronger skin peel solution.
